The Faculty of Computing and Informatics offers a number of post Graduate programs in conjunction with MUBS annex.
The Postgraduate Diploma in business Computing and Management is a Two semester Postgraduate Course. This Program is designed to develop confident, competent, multi-skilled business professionals capable of deploying technology-based solutions to business problems.
Post Graduate Diploma in e-Commerce is Diploma level e-Commerce course. The course is awarded after successful completion of a one-year program or course that generally covers the combined study of the concepts of IT, Commerce & Finance. The course imparts sound knowledge in the fields of IT, Commerce, Management, Finance, Economics, etc. During the course, candidates are introduced various aspects of e-commerce applied in the business.
The aim of this multi – disciplinary certificate programme is to address a skills gap in Namibia’s ICT sector. The skills gap arises not only for particular disciplines but also across them. For example, a lawyer working in the ICT sector needs to have a basic understanding of the economic and technical aspects while an economist needs to have a grasp of the technical and legal side.
